It's official: Since December 2024, the Cabanes des Grands Reflets have obtained theEuropean ecolabel, the only official ecological certification recognized throughout the European Union.

A demanding distinction that confirms the strong commitment of our field to a sustainable tourism, local and in harmony with nature.

The European Ecolabel, a deserved recognition

Awarded according to strict and numerous criteria, this label values tourist accommodations that limit their impact on the environment while guaranteeing quality and comfort for travelers.

Located near Alsace and Switzerland, on the Territory of Belfort, our huts on the water and in the trees offer a unique experience in the middle of nature... but also committed to progressive tourism.

Eco-labelled huts, a committed field

Since the beginning, the (team of Grands Reflets Work for reduce the ecological footprint of the estate. Obtaining the European Ecolabel rewards a large number of concrete actions:

• ☀️ Solar energy production on some huts, for a more autonomous and cleaner domain.
• 💧 Saving water and energy : economical faucets, LED lighting, no watering, controlled temperature. There are no bathrooms in the cabins but only at theEcoutte at the reception. In the latter, Gjosa showerheads save up to 65% of water per shower. Finally, the huts are equipped with dry toilets, which allows more water savings.
• 🍃 Nordic baths treated without chemicals, thanks to Ultra-Bio-Ozone® technology. In addition, emptying is spaced out, limiting water and electricity expenses.
• 🛏️ Linen change only on request, for stays of several nights.
• ♻️ Selective sorting, composting, water fountain, bulk products or refillable... everything is designed to avoid waste.
• 🚚 Shared deliveries, short circuits, local partners less than 50 km away.
• 🌳 Preservation of biodiversity : no thermal vehicles, no invasive species, no lighting on the paths. Parking with electric charging stations is available at the reception of the huts. Cabaneurs can move around the estate on foot or by bike.
• 🌿 Continuing team training, raising customer and partner awareness, continuous improvement action plan.
