What if the change of scenery no longer depended on the distance, but on how you feel there? The local tourism is now emerging as a new way of traveling: simpler, more natural, more in line with the desire to slow down. Less than 2 hours from home, a getaway can become a real break, in the heart of preserved and inspiring landscapes.

Rediscover the richness of the Belfort Territory

Located between Alsace, the Vosges and Switzerland, the Territory of Belfort is an ideal destination to experience local tourism.

This human-sized territory concentrates a great diversity of landscapes: deep forests, peaceful ponds, reliefs of the Southern Vosges... The famous Ballon d'Alsace offers spectacular panoramas, accessible in all seasons. Only a few kilometers away, Alsace reveals its charming villages and vineyards, while nearby Switzerland invites you to extend the escape. This privileged location makes local tourism a rich and varied experience, without long trips.

Leaving less far, but living more intensely

The local tourism, it is also the freedom to leave on a whim. In a few hours, you leave your daily routine behind to join a soothing environment.

This immediate change of pace allows you to take full advantage of every moment. A stroll around Lac du Malsaucy, a hike in the forest, a gourmet break with local products... each moment becomes more intense.

By choosing the local tourism, you prefer the quality of the stay rather than the distance traveled. One night or a weekend is all it takes to create lasting memories.

A natural break at the Cabanes des Grands Reflets

In the heart of the Belfort Territory, the Cabanes des Grands Reflets perfectly embody the spirit of local tourism.

Here, everything invites you to slow down. The huts, floating on Étang Vercgat or nestled in the trees, offer a setting conducive to disconnection. The silence, the reflections on the water, the omnipresent nature... every detail contributes to creating a soothing experience.

The local tourism then takes on a sensory dimension. We wake up with the light of day, we take the time to enjoy breakfast on the terrace, we observe nature evolve over the hours.

Between nature, culture and local discoveries

Staying in the Belfort Territory also means exploring a rich and accessible heritage. La Belfort Citadel, dominated by the famous Lion of Belfort, testifies to the history of the territory. Nature lovers can venture into the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, ideal for rejuvenating hikes.

The local tourism thus makes it easy to combine relaxation, discovery and activity, without multiplying the kilometers.

A more responsible way to travel

Choose the local tourism, it also means making a more conscious choice. Less transport is a reduced footprint, but also a way of promoting nearby territories. By staying locally, you support producers, artisans and actors committed to a sustainable dynamic. You participate in tourism that directly benefits the territory.

The local tourism then becomes obvious: to travel better, while living strong experiences.

What if your next getaway was here?

The Territory of Belfort, at the crossroads of several influences, is an ideal destination to take a break without going far away. The local tourism invites you to rediscover these nearby places, to slow down and to reconnect with the essentials. A cabin at the edge of the water, a forest to explore, a horizon to contemplate...

Sometimes, the escape simply starts 2 hours away from home!
